As long as the topic is included in the slogan of the Congress, two types of works can be presented: empirical research or experimental works.
The content should be structured as follows: Introduction, Method (Participants, Procedure, Instruments), Results, Discussion/Conclusions and Bibliographic References.
Reviews and/or theoretical reflections. The content should be structured as follows: Goals, Topic Development, Discussion/Conclusions and Bibliographic References.
- All the authors of communications or posters must be registered in the Congress.
- No more than one communication per registration can be presented.
- Each communication should be sent together with the corresponding bank voucher and completed registration form.
- Sending a work implies acceptance of the publication rules for the communications and posters of the Congress.
- Congress languages: Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
All works will be assessed by the Scientific Committee of the Congress and this committee will select the 18 best works for their publication in the European Journal of Education and Psychology in Volume 3, numbers 2 and 3, and in Volume 4, number 1 (http://www.ejep.es), and they will be sent to the Editorial Board of the journal for their review and subsequent publication.
All the works that are received before January 15, 2010, along with the bank voucher and the registration form will be published in two Books in paper format with ISBN, which will be handed out during the Congress.
All the communications that arrive after January 15, 2010 will be published in full text and handed out during the Congress in CD format, “Proceedings of the II International Congress of Community Life at School," with ISBN, as long as they are sent before March 1, 2010, along with the bank voucher and the registration form.
THE POSTER ABSTRACTS WILL BE PUBLISHED IN CD “Proceedings of the II International Congress of Community Life at School" with ISBN, as long as they are sent before March 1, 2010, along with the bank voucher and the registration form.
- Font: Times New Roman, size 11, 1.5-space should be used. The structure should be that of a scientific work: introduction, goals, method, results, conclusions and references. The APA norms should be followed when writing the text.
- No more than one communication or poster per registration can be presented.
- Deadline for sending the abstracts will be December 20, 2009 (for the communications that will be presented before January 15 in full text) and February 15, 2010 (for communications that will be presented in full text after January 15, with the deadline of March 1) with a maximum extension of 180-222 words.
- Posters should not exceed a maximum dimension of 100x80.
- Dates to send the full text, which will have a maximum extension of 4,500 words, including bibliography, figures or charts:
- January 15, 2010: together with the bank voucher and the registration form (FOR THEIR PUBLICATION IN BOOKS IN PAPER FORMAT).
- March 1, 2010: along with the bank voucher and the registration form (FOR THEIR PUBLICATION IN THE CD OF PROCEEDINGS COMMUNITY LIFE AT SCHOOL).
- Deadline for sending poster abstracts: March 1, 2010, along with the bank voucher and the registration form.
- All the authors of communications or posters must be registered in the congress.
- ALL THE WORKS SENT will be assessed by the Scientific Committee of the Congress and the 18 best works will be selected for their publication in the European Journal of Education and Psychology.
The acceptance or rejection of the proposals will be carried out by the Scientific Committee as soon as possible. The accepted symposia will be hung on the website.
Presentation requirements
Extension: The complete text of the communication will have a minimum extension of 6 pages and a maximum of 13 pages (as long as it does not exceed 4,500 words), including tables, figures, and bibliographic references, and will, in addition, have a summary of a maximum of 180-220 words, a separate page.
Format:
